Privacy policy

Who we are
AdWise (“we”, “us”) is a marketing agency based in Hong Kong, at 75 Hung To Road, Kwun Tong. This policy explains what personal data we collect through adwisehk.com, why we collect it and what we do with it. We handle personal data in line with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) of Hong Kong.
What we collect
- What you send us. When you fill in our form: your name, WhatsApp number, website or Instagram, what you need and your monthly budget. If you message us on WhatsApp or Instagram, we also see what you write there.
- How you found us. Campaign details from the link you clicked (for example UTM tags and ad click IDs), the page you landed on and the site you came from.
- How you use the site. Technical data such as your browser, device and pages viewed, collected through cookies and similar tools (see below).
Why we use it
- To reply to your request and run your free audit.
- To understand which of our ads and pages bring in enquiries, and to improve them.
- To show our ads to people who may be interested in our services, and to measure how those ads perform.
- To keep the site secure and prevent spam.
We only contact you about your request or our services. If you don’t want to hear from us, tell us and we’ll stop.
Cookies and tracking
We use the Meta Pixel. It sets cookies and sends information about your visit (for example pages viewed and when you submit the form) to Meta, which we use to measure and improve our advertising. We may add other tools, such as Google Analytics or Google Ads tags, later, and will update this page when we do. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, use your browser’s tracking protection, or change your ad preferences in your Facebook and Instagram settings.
Who we share it with
We don’t sell your data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the business:
- Netlify, which hosts this website and stores form submissions.
- Meta (Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp), through the Meta Pixel and when you message us on its apps.
- Other tools we use to run our work, such as email, spreadsheets and project tools.
Some of these providers are based outside Hong Kong, so your data may be processed in other countries. We may also share data if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your data for as long as we need it to deal with your request and any work we do together, and for a reasonable time afterwards for our records. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your data, including limiting access to the people who need it. No online service is completely secure, so please don’t send us sensitive information such as passwords or ID numbers.
Your rights
You can ask us to confirm what personal data we hold about you, send you a copy, correct it or delete it. To do that, message us on WhatsApp or Instagram (@adwise.hk) and we’ll respond as soon as we can.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date at the top.
